Salary: £32,000-£35,000 pro rata

Part time 0.5 fte (full time: 37.5 hours per week)*

The Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust makes grants for political, campaigning or lobbying purposes that are ineligible for charitable funding. We seek to bring about significant changes in the political system, making it more accountable, democratic and transparent and to rebalance power for the well-being of society.

The Trust is looking for a part-time communications all rounder responsible for the day to day delivery of the Trust’s communications strategy and external events.

The role involves developing the website, generating content for the website, social media and newsletters, organising external events, and supporting a range of JRRT initiated activities. It will appeal to someone who enjoys a variety of tasks from the strategic to day to day delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong communications background, excellent writing and IT skills, experience generating engaging content for website and social media, good interpersonal skills and a strong interest in campaigning communications.
