Head of Communications
Full time (35 hours p/w) with some potential for flexibility

We recognise that our fight against corruption depends on effective engagement and innovative, compelling content. We are looking for a strategic thinker and all-round communications expert who will thrive on the opportunity to develop and lead the delivery of a new internal and external communications strategy that takes our impact to the next level.
About the role
Reporting into the Deputy Director of Fundraising and Communications, you will build a team and create a strategy that delivers high quality, multi-channel communications and content – nationally and internationally. You will be responsible for positioning our brand, shaping our media and social media profile, developing our digital strategy and content and establishing effective internal communications.
Additionally, you will:
Shape TI-UK’s engagement events
Gain a deep understanding of our programmes of work
Manage and grow relationships with media and communications contacts, key influencers and sources of vital information
Work with internal stakeholders, volunteers and agencies to create compelling, multi-channel content and messaging
Build organisational capability and capacity to deliver effective communications to media and other audiences
Provide reputation and crisis management
Manage 1-2 further team members
Feed into wider fundraising and communications strategy
To be successful in this role you will have:
Extensive communications and media experience
A track record of delivering results through a multi-channel approach
Excellent communication skills – with the ability to make complex information inspiring and engaging for different audiences
Excellent relationship management skills – with experience of working with multiple stakeholders to deliver results
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple demands on time and resources
The ability to manage and lead a successful team – with experience of recruiting, managing and developing staff
An interest in Transparency International and the world of anti-corruption
